The world needs alignment and wheel balancing just like a car. We can also share the central role without beefing each other just like Aubameyang and Lacazette of Arsenal football club in England 🏴 . Hence, love is necessary in this context. Before writing this article I took my life out of my life in order to be sensible, so that at the end Elohim would answer me. Let us glance at what I think and feel about Elohim(God) as I put it below:
There is something supernatural about all things, but it’s as if science has taken over everything forgetting to applaud the right channel. The world is too perfect for her not to have an organizer, although science might apply the scenario of the big bang theory. Truth be told, this must have been triggered by something or a being. Yet, Elohim is silent, but I think he’s waiting for his time⌚.
This is not wrestle with the creator, but it’s to express my grievances and burdens as related to past and current happenings. It might also interest you to know that he has been a father and mother to many as said by some people. So, if Elohim is my father, then, I have the autarchy to purport to him. Isn’t it? In this letter I will ask some questions, but I won’t say what he should have done neither would I defend him, because he can defend himself . Hence, Elohim(God) a lot of things should be treated with urgency. This will lead to my letter below :
I greet you with sincerity and how is heaven? I hope you are not coming soon? But if you are on your way, who am I to know? I am not an atheist, I am a moralist. The situations in this world is pathetic that is why I am writing this letter to you with a sadden heart which I know something will be done soon. The faith of many has been tinted with deception, they are in the state of doubt. Suffering has increased, especially some of your servants who are not teaching what is in the scripture.
They have changed the ways you laid, they made your labour to be in vain such that people who have been honoring your name through their manifestations have deviated from the strides of salvation. The mantra that keeps banging with alacrity is: where is their God? In your name they have destroyed some altars knowingly and unknowingly in order to get fame and money. Selfishness has established an entrance for egoism, at the end, they would say, “God understands” is it true?
In addition, there have been some notable discrepancies as regards the authority you possess, but I would ask one question that supersedes all: if God is good, how come this world is evil? This has caused many to disbelieve your essence and existence and their faith has turned to fate. You know it’s hard for one to believe you are, especially when such a being hasn’t been seen, howbeit, faith has to come and verify her authenticity.
Furthermore, some people who are rich are oppressing the poor without pity as they have assumed the throne of greatness by usurping it. I am really perturbed and if I don’t express my mind I might collapse internally which would have a great effect outwardly. What vision do you have for mankind? If I have realized mine, some are still battling with theirs. I think there is need for clarification, thus, he who can’t do it alone should be helped.
How about the pedophiles who are defiling children? Recently I saw a video online of a young girl twerking and some adults were jubilating and hailing her with happiness, yet how would pedophilia stop or be eradicated? The way she moved in that video could cause sexual attention and attraction. When are you coming Elohim? I hope you are still there?
Homosexuality is another common exhibition. Some have said, there is need for ‘a man to sex a man and a woman to sex a woman’. It is said that you have given us the term choice, which means, we can decide to take any decision so far it pleases us, but how true is that? Is it a scam or a truthful postulation accorded with the right decision? The fact is, this world is in corruption as she keeps feeling like a God to mankind. When is the date of your coming?
Honestly, I need to be sincere and speak on behalf of those who are willing to talk, but they can’t, it is not because they can’t put their thoughts into writing but the patient to express politely might lead to anger. The annoying part is the issue of comparison which has led many astray and some have committed suicide, saying they can’t cope with the oppression of life and her unfavorable dictum.
To buttress my points, some have assumed you are no more especially about the issue of “inequality”. That is, why is that some would have money and others won’t have? Some are able while some disable? If X should try what Y is doing he or she might face total condemnation, but why? Is the case that you have programmed all things? If condemnation is already created for some, why making them to play along?
You have been accused of partiality which I think it’s not right. If you were to be man I would have suggested an appearance in court to defend this allegation, but how would Elohim appear before man who he created?
How would a building be stronger than it foundation? If that should be the case, you need to come and shut the naysayers and those whose belief isn’t depended on you. Is that much God? I don’t think so.
I have a lot of questions, but I need to cut this letter short because in our contemporary society entertainment and nudity are the highest recommendation. I hope I have spoken? If there is need for you to contact me I am sure you know my name and where I stay.
Finally, God is not a Comedian of which I believe he would exercise his magnificence. Hope is reducing gradually, people have been carried away by materialism and Seriousness has escaped. Hence, Where is Elohim?
OPEYEMI OLAWAYE ON FREEDOM : WHEN WILL I BE FREE?
Just like a mad man, I want to do the same thing, I want to be free and be free and be free all over again, but then I woke up this morning and I roar “I want to be free and be free like a bird” and suddenly a flying bird pooped on my head and went away with it, and then I said to myself, no matter how free I am or how free I want to be, there would be consequences to justify each action that I take as a free person.
When will I be free? When will all of these come to an end? The trials, the tribulations, the turbulence, the hardship, the hatred in my society, my own conscience, when will I be free from restrictions and limitations?
The word freedom has been unilingual for so many decades, freedom is said to be an innate, a property we all inherited right from our birth, if freedom is said to be a property we all inherited, then I ask myself, if man is said to be free, why is chain everywhere? Many people talked about freedom, many people sang about it, many people preached about it and for once, I have never come across a single soul who preached against freedom, because to be free is to be happy, to be happy is to live a great and a worth living life.
People like Nelson Mandela fought for it and in the process of fighting for it, so many lives were lost. No matter how we fight, CAN WE REALLY BE FREE? Remember Nelson Mandela fought so hard for freedom and was never free, until a very old age and died, though his legacy still remains, but many of the things he fought for are no more followed and some not in existence.
A global musical act by name AKON in one of his humoresque titled “FREEDOM” and he said in the falsetto:
‘Everything I have, everything I own, all my mistakes you already know but I wanna be free and he continued by saying `if you wanna be free, and the land is drug free, put your hands up, put your hands up.If you wanna be free from all your misery, put your hands up, put your hands up and if you wanna be free with plenty money, put your hands up, put your hands up.’
This question has been bothering me for a very long time but who will I ask? So I have to ask from freedom itself. So Freedom, tell me, when will I be free?
But before I go deep, meet the writer

WHAT IS FREEDOM?
According to oxford dictionary, Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants, the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. Well, many of us will say freedom is an absolute right. IS IT AN ABSOLUTE RIGHT? We are born free, but if I may ask, are we really free? Freedom is defined from different aspects, different cultures, freedom varies from one culture to another. Freedom is the right to do what we want, live where we want, eat what we want, learn what we want and choose the religion we believe, without ignoring or harming other rights, then, I need to ask myself “What is free about freedom?”
Freedom that is limited to the poor, Freedom that is only designed for the rich and the high people in the society, Freedom which favours the leaders and forsake the followers, as a Christian I cannot even practice my own religion while in some northern parts of the country, it is a must I compel to the kind of religion they practice in such an area, for example, there are some parts of the northern area that if you practice another religion that contradicts to theirs, you will be killed, meaning if I am in sokoto, it is a must I behave and act like I am from Sokoto, but why can’t I be in Sokoto and enjoy my freedom and be fain without having to act like I am from Sokoto.
WHEN WILL FREEDOM ITSELF BE FREE?
But truth be told, for I am always in trepidation for my own freedom because freedom is indivisible, and when one man is enslaved, all are not free, freedom cannot be bestowed, it must be achieved and if we are not ready to die for our freedom, then we should take the word freedom from our vocabulary. Man is condemned to be free because once he is thrown to the world; he is responsible for everything he does, you can’t blame anyone else, you can’t claim you had no choice because you very clearly did and you have to live with it.
We are in a facinorous world today, and sometimes I sit back and have a deep thought and ask myself, IS FREEDOM REAL?
It is a fallibility to say I am free in this world, a world designed to oppress the poor, a world where the poor is been captured and jailed for acting freely or expressing his thoughts.
I WANT FREEDOM, but it is in special cases that we can ask whether a man is free. Of course, I am not speaking of a man who is in captive or serving a sentence in jail. In some countries, citizens are not allowed to speak out their thoughts about certain things or to express criticism of the state. And in such a country, we can categorically say that there is no freedom and hence, the citizens are not free. Where a man cannot say what he thinks though he realizes that a great deal turns upon his doing so we say he is not free. He may for instance, hold a position of responsibility and yet be handicapped by an irresistible need to placate his colleagues. Such people are referred to as Figureheads.
To be free is beyond waking up, eating, grabbing a cup of Trebbiano and having the ability to walk around without anybody questioning us.
Your freedom is not free, that is a fact that people including the next generation should understand and remember, that there were people who never knew us but fought for our freedom to live without fear, without being discriminated and be able to express our thoughts.
In conclusion, we always have special reasons for asking whether a man is free or not. Our interest is practical and our concern is with specific occasions and we usually assume unfreedom to be the exception rather than the rule. The assertion that a man is not free on this or that occasion, therefore, carries the suggestion that everything is not as it should be. We always assert a man is free, where there is the suggestion that he may not be.
When we take an interest in a man’s freedom, we are usually concerned with his decisions and actions. But, it is not only when he wants to do something, decides or does this and that, that we can say a man is unfree. He could be Unfree in the way he behaves or responds, for instance, or in his thinking, generally speaking, a man is unfree when he cannot do what he wants, or when he does something out of fear or because he is forced, or feels forced to do it and would not have done it at all.
WHEN WILL I BE FREE? Probably not in this life that I am living in, When will I be Free? Probably after death, or in my next life.

WHEN WILL I BE FREE?
This is a question that resonates right in my head, every single time life throws different obstacles and challenges at my face. Sometimes I think it’s just my thoughts playing with my emotions as everything seems to be an unending mirage,a clear picture of what is,what should be but in reality.
If freedom was a man,he would be a womanizer that fathers too many children of which he won’t even remember all their names, with his children all over the place he won’t be able to claim them all, thereby making it so hard for any human to attain a state or total freedom as those who have financial freedom are struggling for psychological freedom and vice versa which brings me to the conclusion that total freedom is a shade of many colors embedded into one.
Talking about human wants and needs,I have come to a clear conclusion that it is insatiable,we have been programmed in an ‘olivertwistic’ kind of way,we always want more and those who want more never have total freedom, the drive to see the end of a chapter will always bring us to the beginning of a whole new phase of life, there’s no end and no beginning to an unending cycle. We all grew up with no responsibilities;innocent ,free and devoid of life’s negativity, misconceptions, mischief, dreams and aspirations. As we grow through life,we lose our innocence which takes freedom farther away from us.
Yea … Freedom is a burden and to be under someone is bondage. The burden in freedom is the responsibility that ultimately comes with the freedom we so desire.
Like I once said ” you can have freedom without responsibility, but not for long, because the first thing an irresponsible man does with freedom is to give it away”.
Therefore the freedom we seek is a continuous improvement of ourself as individuals. Moreover, the improvement we needed is set before us a closed door with many other doors behind the closed door that require different key and until we open the door presently in front of us, we don’t even know which is the next door and what key is required.
Then, it is better said that freedom is in continuum and we can’t, because we don’t know what challenges the next level of freedom brings, then, will choose to be stagnant.
Abraham Maslow (Theory of hierarchy of needs) has already highlighted these levels ( you may need to read it up) So, until we die, we keep improving and we keep attaining another level of freedom. For we understand that the Stamp is real, thus we keep moving to avoid being trampled upon.

My name is Odebiyi Oluwatosin
a software developer, radicalist, a graphic designer, a fabricator of compressed series of rational thoughts which I deem fit to be poetry, I detest religion and walk on a path that deviates from the cultural lifestyle, imposed on the millennial generation by the ancient pillars of time however recent or whatever form these pillars may present themselves as. I merge my poetry with code on social media in an attempt to unite what I personally perceive to be the three most Important factors in my generation at this time, clarity is my best quality.. and my worst.

Opeyemi Akinrulie On Hypocrisy Of Religion.
Let me give you a quick reminder about this article(a kiss from religion) I wrote on September, 25 2016. I would only give excerpts as given below :
” Imagine a world where all religions will dwell together in unity. Imagine a world where you can be able to preach your religion to other religions. Imagine a world where laughter will live forever. When would religion stop this disastrous impersonation?.” – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua . (A kiss from religion).
” When I cry, you laugh. When I laugh, you cry. This is the concept of religion.” #A kiss from religion.
In addition, I purported again, If religion is a criterion for all then, more Calamities would come to establish a canopy of religious conflicts. I have wondered about the essence of religion as related to human society. Some people have argued that the main aim of religion is to instill morality in mankind in order to act morally, yet, if that should be the case, religion has succeeded in some not in all, in other words, is religion acting as a moral agent under man’s umbrella? Or is religion a dictatorial being upon mankind? Peace won’t come except your religion can create that peace with others. Discrimination won’t take you anywhere, it will only
make you think you are dynamic whereas you are static. Stop being
dramatic, rise up and face different things because time is not
From the above views I hope you have been able to glean some facts about religion. Hence, this will take us to contemporary topic called, hypocrisy of religion. Whether we like it or not, one of the most powerful tools of oppression is religion. As some would say, you don’t belong to us,therefore, we can’t help you. Are you ready to convert because we don’t worship the same God? As a matter of fact, they have become fake by forcing the nature of God to manifest without consultation. This is the thinking of religion. Isn’t it? How about that? https://purewords.me/religion/good-god-fake-people/
Religion is a special friend to mankind in terms of enslavement. As a matter of fact, when religion is in tears some engulfed followers of her tend to be sad saying, our master is not happy. But they have forgotten that, man made religion. The questions are: Is it the case that the creature is now greater that the creator? Too much power has been given to her as we tend to worship her as if she is the source of our joy.
Are we in bondage or freedom? Religion is an epitome of disguised subjugation which is not in existence, but mankind made it a fanatical reality.Hence, religion is begging for blood. Before I delve into my views and thoughts, I will try to exempt complexity and invite simplicity for better understanding, till then, it’s very vital to take a glance at Karl’s nugget on religion.
“Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of
real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions.
It is the opium of the people.”
What purpose has religion given? Peace or war? Love or hatred? Betrayal or trust? As some people have been under the captive of religion for years, yet they have been brainwashed without any choice and even if there is a way out they still prefer to ask religion for her opinion. What would she do? Is it not to manipulate them with the use of reinforcement? Religion makes you look like a moron, you would think all your thoughts are accurate and right, but at the end, it’s the killing of oneself not to think outside the box. How would you progress?
We are protecting religion more that ourselves. Does God have a religion? If he does, then, he’s partial and if he doesn’t have, then, he’s God. If religion is of God, then, it would have been perfect. Hence, the clamor for a supervisor became a calamity for those with the mentality of religion. We have been stylishly entrapped by a commoner who has imposed her own numerous cultures on us. Who is to be faulted for the establishment of religion? As Alexander Pope puts it, We ought to blame the culture, not the soil.
Take a look at all things, are they not subjected to religion? A Muslim who probably marry a Muslim in order to continue their stewardship in Islam. This is also applicable to Christians, he or she would probably prefer a Christian. As long as we continue to wrestle with each in hatred and distrust saying, my religion is the best, especially in a country like Nigeria. How would peace reign since many are extremely fanatical? Yet, we are always lamenting to God for help but has the freewill given to us been utilized?
It’s so funny that we have underestimated the power of unity in religion rather we are concerned with our faith, in such a way that we are ready to lay down our lives. Isn’t it? It is very important to know what you are dying for because after death there is no chance to live as human, think rigorously before making any decision. No body will take or carry your cross, for all will deny you in order to face their cross. Hence, your cross can’t cross.
‘If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.’ ~Albert Einstein.
True or false👆
Is that not the case of religion? Timidity in the heart of men, to question has become a huge assignment, so religion has become a God, but is she God? What is really wrong with the perception of mankind? Has he forgotten he created her? Who has given the glory to religion? Mankind has been demoted to the level of sympathy, therefore, seeking for survival. The source is not original as she has been abased because her confidence has been compromised.
I will put it this way, everything that looks funny is an avenue for religion to strike, she utilizes all means to penetrate into our world. For us, we would think it’s a normal thing for what we have created to dwell and have predominance. We would say, we are proud of our product . But, this is not the matter of the product, but the confusion and destruction the product has brought must be dealt with.
Religion has enthroned herself as an everlasting king which she has vowed to remain for life. Who gave her the mantle? The creature has betrayed her creator, she has decided to erase the spiritual world, how possible is that? Yet, we would rejoice and jubilate as if religion is God sent. If X is sent by God, why should X be destructive? I strongly believe there is an architect whose intelligence is extreme and Supreme, if you want to know, let death show you. But, I have not gone there. Have you?
We have committed many things on God, thus, this has activated our unseriousness. I am not saying he’s not capable, at times we need to put in place the logical thinking that has been bestowed on us by him for his manifestation. We have aligned our ways with religion which shouldn’t be. At the end, we would say, it’s the case of predestination whereas we created a disease without an antidote.
Religion has realized she’s hypocritical, she embarked on a journey seeking for refuge after she had caused a lot of problems. Yet, mankind is fighting because of her, not knowing she left this world a long time ago. If you have questions about her location, kindly contact the right channel within you.
“If I were religion I would arrest myself and surrender my whole to the creator, so that peace will reign.”– Opeyemi Akinrulie.
Opeyemi Olawaye On Hypocrisy Of Religion.
The highest societal matters arising in our contemporary society nowadays are religious inclined; ‘Religiosity’ without religion is a great challenge to a nation building in a seeming religious nation like Nigeria. It appears that the higher the number of religions in a nation, the more compounding, degenerating and endemic the social vices therein.
Before I go deep into this breathtaking and stellar topic “Hypocrisy of Religion”, I would like to break down and give some meaningful definitions of
religion and as well the hypocrisy
Some definitions of religion
“Religion is said to be the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods and as well a pursuit or interest followed with great devotion and also a social system of designated behaviours and practices, morals, worldviews, texts, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural or spiritual elements –Oxford dictionary.”
“By religion, then, I understand a propitiation or conciliation of powers superior to man which are believed to direct and control the course of nature and human life’’-James George Frazer.
According to Paul Tillich, “Religion is the state of being grasped by an ultimate concern, a concern which qualifies all other concerns as preliminary and which itself contains the answer to the question of the meaning of life.”
Religion, like culture, is a symbolic transformation of experience. ’Thomas F. O.dea. And we also have some major types of religion we practice in our world today.
Types of religion:
According to Wikipedia, Hypocrisy is the contrivance of a false appearance of virtue of goodness, while concealing real character or inclinations, especially with respect to religious and moral beliefs; hence, in a general sense, hypocrisy may involve dissimulation, pretense, or a sham.
And below are some bible definitions of hypocrisy:
i.Announcing that you will be giving aid to the needy Matt 6:2
ii.Public praying for others to see Matt 6:5
iii.Honoring God with words without placing him in importance Matt 15:7
Hypocrisy is a word we like to throw around a lot in this country, whether we are discussing athletes doping, celebrities who are full of it or any other person who genuinely talks out of both ends of their mouth.
But, without question in my mind, the biggest hypocrites are not only in our country, but the world today, are organized sects of religion and the people who associate with them.
Now let me clear a few things up.
I personally don’t think religion is a bad thing and I also think you don’t have to be religious before you practice hypocrisy but at the same time let me focus on the topic, in order not to contradict myself and have a baseless points since the hypocrisy named above focused and talked on religion.
Just like in a song written by one of the most popular Nigerian artists “Falz” titled Hypocrisy, he talked about all the sectors in which hypocrisy affects our country today and some of the lines in the chorus stated “everybody is into hypocrisy, that even some people want to reap where they don’t sow” and also stated further “people act like they don’t breath, why some act like they are inhuman and have super powers”.
“Falz the bad guy, I grew up in a religious household; I was baptized Anglican and raised as a non-denominational Christian.
There were some churches I love going to when growing up and others I despised, I have life-long friends I met in Sunday school, and also people I would never associate myself with. As I got older, I attend Anglican but I realized organized religion wasn’t for me but don’t quote me wrong, I never said anything is wrong attending Anglican or any other churches around but I feel if I wanted a relationship with God, I wanted it to be personal and at the same time doesn’t define me as a pagan.
I didn’t feel I had to go to some big ornate building to be told I was a heathen, and then eat a cracker and some grape juice and all of a sudden be told am forgiven because I feel most people take it every other time and still go back to same sin, which is deceitfulness according to Psalm 26:4, and hypocrisy in religion is when you know I sin and you still judge me in front of so many other people.
I’ve sat in the stands and watched as my pastor made people cringe in their chairs as they are faced with coming to terms with their own morality.
Nothing is out of bounds at this church, and nothing is too taboo to discuss.”
This pastor knows that we can pretend all we want, but at the end of the day, we are all human and we all face the same temptations and contemplate the same internal dialogue.
With the definitions of both religion and hypocrisy, religious leaders are meant to be the epitome of goodness and morality, and they are supposed to live lives worthy of emulation but we are in a world today where a religious leader preach against smoking but at the corner of is room, he practice what he preached against. Religion is infested with hypocrisy and also religious leaders are with hypocritical characters that are corrupt, greedy and immoral. All religions, in their pure form, will tell you God is love. And power, fear, division, judgment, oppression, hatred and self-righteousness are the opposite of love. So going to war, for example, in the name of religion, is a complete contradiction. No pure religious leader would ever support this.
Odebiyi Oluwatosin On Hypocrisy Of Religion.
Hypocrisy is a word we like to throw around in this country, whether we’re discussing infidelity amongst artists,or celebrities who are full of it or any other person who genuinely talks out of both ends of their mouth.
But, without question in my mind, the biggest hypocrite is not only our country, but the world, where we have organized sects of religion and the people who associate themselves with them.
Now let me clear a few things up👇👇
I do not believe religion is a thing of negativity, religion is a highly functional value system that operates with more finesse than even the leadership of most countries,I sought out the opinions of a few of my colleagues, and from what I gathered, their collective response led to a final thesis being that “religion functions as a systematic barrier that organises the body of Christ or rather the church“, and in doing so some say, religion has become a barrier to the spiritual activities that should occur in a place of worship, and this led me to arrive at a relatively complicated question, why are spiritual expressions frowned upon by numerous denominations? Why are there limits placed on the kind of conversations we hold with one another in religious environments? Why are people set against pastors or ministers that are liberal ministers that have delivered messages that made people cringe in their chairs as they’re faced with coming to terms with their own morality?
I personally believe nothing related to Christianity or topics on morality should be out of bounds at a place of worship, and nothing should be too taboo to discuss. I believe pastors should know that we can pretend all we want, but at the end of the day, we are all human, and we all face the same temptations and contemplate the same internal dialogue.
The hypocrisy of religion is a topic most individuals deem to delicate for criticism, in an article I read not too long ago,the writer recounted a disappointing experience he had with his church and I quote:
“On Sunday, January 15, my church became one of the only Christian churches in the country, and as far as I know, the only church in the South, to open their arms to homosexual brethren.
We’ve never turned away gays, lesbians or any person who identified as anything other than heterosexual away, but now, it was official. This caused such an uproar among the congregation that approximately half of them decided this church was no longer the place they would come to worship the man who said:
JOHN 13: 34-35
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciple, if you have love for one another.”
The people who are outraged — who, in their own right, are broken souls — couldn’t be bothered to share this house of God with people with slightly different beliefs”.Reading this led me to an understanding, that despite the moral code and structure that religion may provide, it still serves as a barrier between individuals and as an inhibitor to what people may wish to share with other members of the congregation.”
The hypocrisy of religion is fueled by numerous factors, yet it remains tremendously functional and here are three reasons why I believe religion despite its advantages is still detrimental to my relationship with God
1. Religion is a business:
and that business is successful and it’s not difficult to see why untaxed land, untaxed contributions, constant funding from its members and as a certain friend of mine liked to point out “heavy donations from the churches back bones”,”back bones” meaning wealthy members of the church, growing up I always questioned where the money was all going to, and as I grew older I got to understand the purpose of tithes and how it was different from the offering we gave every other Sunday, and yes,a lot of it goes to work improvements on the physical church, and a lot goes into funding various charitable programs, but where does the rest go? Who’s in charge of making sure all these millions, if not billions of naira of funds donated annually are 100 percent allocated properly?
The truth is, the majority of people involved with handling these funds are good honest people, but for every five hundred good worker who just do an honest day’s work, there’s one or two amongst them ready to take us for every kobo under the guise of the lord.
2. People don’t practice what they preach.
You can’t be a heathen all week, then eat a cracker on Sunday and pretend everything is all right. One of the things that bothered me growing up in the church was youth groups.
Now, in theory it’s a great idea, getting young people involved in a relationship with God by making religion fun, playing games, singing songs, etc. However, in my experience, all what youth groups did was show young people how to “act holy” without taking any of it to heart.
I saw people leading prayer groups and playing songs about Jesus, who I knew, for a fact, were doing drugs and having sex, and all the other things we were trying to prevent at these groups.
So, all this experience provided was practice for those people who think it’s important to have a veil, a religious “facade” if you will, to present to those around them.
All these retreats were simply allowing these people to get better at faking it, until only those who truly knew them discovered who they were.
Now this doesn’t mean if you’re not perfect you shouldn’t associate yourself with the church; religion is about forgiveness, but it’s also about trying to improve.
If you simply show up because people expect you to, you’re not participating in the process.
3. A relationship with God doesn’t need to take place in a building.
Considering how I am constantly hearing about how the moral standards of our society are in the toilet, it baffles me how many churches are still around, and how many more are constantly being built.
It’s kind of like porn (stay with me for a second): No one will admit to watching it, but the numbers don’t lie; the porn industry is right up there with oil, Apple and, well, the church, as some of the biggest money makers around. So, if all these churches exist and stay open, we must assume holy people are attending them. But, if everyone is going to church, where is all this societal degradation coming from?
The point is, you don’t have to go to a building once a week for an hour in order to be a good Christian, Catholic, Muslim or whatever. We see all these people going, but what does it change? There’s still war, famine, porn; the only thing it does is continue to put money in church pockets as we try to buy our way out of “moral debt.”
” For two consecutive years in my life I followed the path of numerous people around me in an attempt to improve myself and majorly so I didn’t come across as impure or defective, but the truth is, I am impure, I’m not perfect and I’m certainly not the best human being in general but I do want to be the best that I can be and so I made a decision to ignore the crippling expectations set by my own peers and it also led me to understand that now is the defining moment of the young religious generation, and if you follow in the footsteps of men who aren’t into religion to keep up with appearances and are actually interested in a relationship with God and not the festivities of it, you might just have a chance to save that which matters most to you.”
Since the mind has been engulfed by religion. When would peace defeat war?— Opeyemi Akinrulie.
The world has no grace of giving people hope rather she is under the influence of satanic predictions. As a matter of fact, Satan is a god and I have been wondering why God gave him so much power to torment with such pejoration. The World is in shackles and obstacles, it is either you bargain or you lose all. But why?
It’s not the case that I am questioning the establishment between God and Satan, but my focus here is Satan. I have wondered about so many things and I have imagined beyond, yet I am still in the realm of the impossible. What progress have I made? As a writer and philosopher I always try as much as possible to be simplistic and write as if I am in that particular scenario, but this is not to prove that I know, it’s for the benefit of the audience.
The world is disorganized, yet nothing has been done to rectify those problems we are facing. Religion and politics are dominating enormously, each religion has their own savior. Bigotry and prejudice can’t be exempted from man’s thinking and If anything bad should happen some people tend to trace it to Satan and this uncivilized mentality is usually seen in Africa, the home of fanatical religion.
The same people would say, Satan is bad. As they tend to pray too much forgetting to work judiciously, they have turned God into a magician, so if what they have prayed for did not work out, they tend to raise an alarm saying, Satan is at work or devil is a liar. I am not saying that Satan is not in existence, but this African mentality as regards satanic forces has become a predominant thing, it’s as if the center of everything is spirituality. Yet, Satan will always be happy to accept newcomers.
Is it not obvious that those who worship Satan are performing exceedingly? Is it not conspicuous that those who have sold their souls are dominating all things? The rate at which some people are seeking money and wealth can’t be overemphasized. Desperation has sized their hearts, a choice is given, the utility should be applied to thinking and reasoning. Hence, the end is like a repercussion. Although, Satan gives joy that looks healthy, as one tends to rejoice after gaining money and wealth. As a matter of fact, the way one would spend the money would be as if there is a spirit saying, “you have a short life, therefore, spend without thinking of the consequences”. Is this not the case?
They have said since God isn’t willing to listen to us and activate our good intentions towards greatness, then, we would accept the criteria of Satan and register with his party. We don’t care about the outcome, we have waited for years, yet God has refused to answer us. Have we offended him? Have we not asked for forgiveness? What have we done wrong? Hope is gone. Grace is yet to be located. Everything is disappointing. Our trust which is the savior is not ready to come. What is our fate?
Satan has been permitted a long time ago to establish his throne on earth, he dictates the affairs of the world without pity, he roams amidst mankind without permission and even waging war against his creator. Well, the end will be interesting, but I hope it comes fast. As a matter of fact, don’t be dismayed, I believe one day the world would be relieved of her duties and we would see where people in there would be transferred to. I guess my thoughts are too imaginative, but whether they are or not, the thing is, the freedom we have still belongs to this world.
Let me predict the mind of Satan in the prima facie, as I put it below:
Satan speaks, my world has nothing to offer, but I will make it look as if it is meaningful and mankind will fall for it since his interest is to be comfortable on earth. I will make everything look simple, but in the end, I will give agony and disruptions. I will create a scenario whereas it’s for destruction, I know mankind will embrace it as a means of survival.
In addition, I will invent many things that will lure man away from reality. I will be god over them and I will make them feel more perfect than their creator. I will make them feel that their freedom and free will are unlimited, thus, they can be like God.
Many will follow me, many will sell their souls, many will sacrifice for me, many will forget the covenant they made with the supreme being, but it will be too late for them to repent, because I will make them feel it’s a normal thing to sin and it’s abnormal to be pure without an element of impurity. Woe to all the partakers.
To cap my expressions, it’s a choice and I will only play my role with normalcy, not by force. As a matter of fact, many people don’t know the power in their possession, thus, they focus everything on Satan, but there is a CHOICE given. Isn’t it? Although I can’t deny the presence of the spiritual world, it’s as if this has subjugated the continent called Africa, especially Nigeria.
You hear something like,” Satan must leave.” To where? Let me tell you one secret :
Deception is the reality in this world, at times you have to be abnormal and turn things that are good into bad ones for you to flourish. It’s either you endure and do the right thing, or be a friend to Satan. Which side are you, it’s now or never?
There is something I have to admit in my life whether I like it or not, and I can’t do without it, that thing is, writing. Please I would like the reader to be attentive and follow each line judiciously, it might not make sense, but may be you can realize who you really are during that process. I will try as much as possible to use myself as an example so that the audience will understand my exegeses, well, that is the life of a writer whose mission is to express his thoughts, and if he’s a philosopher he must be ready for castigation and share opinions with others. As a matter of fact, if my purpose and freewill should conglomerate, don’t you think that would lead to MY PROPOSED VISION.
If you have a purpose try and embrace freewill which would catapult you to the land of fruition. But, have I succeeded in actualizing what I have purported? As some people would say, he that is advising people must be able to show us his good deeds. I am not here to say I am holy,or to say I have gotten to the land of my assumed vision. As a matter of fact, man should always try to be ambitious with dynamism. What is your purpose? Where is your freewill? What is your vision?
The aforementioned questions have been asked by many but I hope I would be able to answer them with satisfaction, if not, you can redefine those questions and find the part and path that fits you. This article would be interactive as I would ask some questions which would make you think beyond your capacity, but don’t be afraid those questions would be simple and easy in accordance with the previous questions in bold italics.
WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?
Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua explains, Imagine I have no purpose, imagine my creation has no meaning, how would I survive? What I engage myself in everyday counts in my life and if I chose to live in this world(🌍) without a specific function, then what would be my end (🔚)? These questions I have asked are not new as I am just trying to refurbish your consciousness in order for you to rethink your status. I know some people have been asking about the purpose of life and her essence, we don’t need to be lectured in order for us to perform purposefully. Yet let’s ask ourselves these questions : Is evil (😈) a purpose? Are those performing evil deeds fulfilling their purpose? If they are, this implies that, they derive pleasure from evil acts. Is that a true purpose? Or they chose that act by the freewill given to them?
If all you do is to sit and see TV (📺) everyday, is that your purpose? If all you do is to go to night club everyday to dance, is that your purpose? How about gossip? Etc. I hope you haven’t assumed that you still have enough time (⌚). Time has her own purpose too. Don’t joke with your life, because non-living things are begging the creator for LIFE.
Are you with your purpose or without?
WHERE IS YOUR FREEWILL?
It’s so sad that the freedom given to mankind can’t move beyond, if not, he would have gone to see his creator and come back to this world, but in as much as freewill is given, but limited. Hence, that doesn’t mean you should use it as an excuse, afterall you own your decisions. There comes a time in a man’s life when he would be tempted to question himself about his freedom, and how it would accede with his purpose. Have you not found yourself in that situation before?
Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua purports, although you have your freewill and you can decide whatever you want to achieve with it, but they are some certain people whom the creator has chosen as He tends to direct them towards the predestined creation, they might not be aware about it, they would think they are satisfying themselves so that the creator won’t have their time. It’s a pity that it’s a training for them, at the end, it would look as if they have the freewill, it’s an illusion, not a reality that can be achieved.
When I talk about freewill, what do I mean? Freewill is what I have chosen to do, that is my wish and desire. Right? Why is it that freewill isn’t free? Have you observed it? Now take a look at this below :
‘Will’ is what you want to do(wish or desire). ‘Free’ means you are liberal or unconstrained. Hence, we have FREEWILL. The ‘will’ there is an obstruction ,because it’s a task which you have decided to fulfill,if one should abandon his or her task in this contemporary world, I doubt if such an individual will survive in a world where death is free. As a matter of fact, when you add ‘free’ it becomes a struggle which you think you are free whereas you are not. The questions are : are you really free? Am I? If you can influence your decisions, you can’t influence the decisions of your creator.
Be vigilant, because freewill is tired of her duty.
WHAT IS YOUR VISION?
There is one particular vision you have and you have been waiting for the day it would come to pass. Well and truly, you have lamented within, you have cried outwardly at many places with secrecy. You have been told to present your purpose, freewill, and vision, so that they would be tinted to their own taste rather you succumbed to their request by saying, have my soul, take my freewill. But now, you are extremely deep in it. Although God can save you, that doesn’t mean that Karma would be silent about the Calamities you have committed. Fame is sweet, but the price is exorbitant.
Must you do something that is dirty before you get fulfilled in this life? Must you expose your vision to the world? Why not achieve it first, then party with it publicly. As I will end this article in order not to prolong the matter which might be boring if elongated.
Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua argues, it’s left for you to decide, no one will decide your journey, but I am afraid that the creator is the ultimate decider, I am sure you have heard this dictum before : man proposes, God disposes. If that should be the case, would it not be better for Him to have your soul and take your freewill. That day, it would be a funny scenario and tears won’t be much, but some people have said, “there is no point in having a freewill without prosperity. Hence, they said to the buyer individually,” have my soul, take my freewill. ” Would you do this? The choice is yours.
It’s very important to scrutinize how some people are being exploited in this contemporary society, however, some pastors who are ingenuine still fake their identity because they know that the problem of man is spirituality. In addition to this, these pastors have lifted themselves to the apex of everything which allows pride to be ecstatic everyday, but they forgot their origin and they became intoxicated by money. – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua.
For how long would mankind sit under the shade of deception? Where is the transparency? As a matter of fact, I am not afraid to speak the reality. If I die, I will face my own judgment whether for good or bad, not saying anything at all would result to judgment as well. Let pastors, prophets, apostles, evangelists and other ecumenical beings say where tithes go to. How many poor people have they helped? Numerous or little?
I won’t castigate any body as I would be straight in my arguments, not in terms of fighting, but in terms of debatable conversations. Yet, where do tithes go to? Is the church an establishment for profit making? You see men of God as the messiah. Whatsoever they say always become your mantra, even if it would cost you a lot of money. Howbeit, you have failed to ask questions since they are God-sent, but as far as I am concerned all human beings are subjected to castigation.
They have been using different methods to usurping your little income, yet you are still poor. For years you have been in the struggle, but what you keep hearing are as follows : prosperity is yours. You can do exploit. You can break the chains. Etc. Have you asked yourself this question : why am I at the same spot? It’s not the case that you have not done the needful, but you see yourself as a slave to some pastors and other ecumenical beings. Have you not heard this? The truth will set you free.
You have been living in a canopy of deceit. Is it not better to give the tithes to the needy? Is it not preferable to give your tithes to orphans? How about the internal displaced persons? They have been preaching about the fear of God, but do they fear God? They will quote a particular verse which is so cmmon : Malachi Chapter 3 vs 10. The whole congregation will be convinced after the sugarcoated utterances by their pastor, thinking that after the submission they will be in abundance. What a pity! As I put it below :
The people are credulous about this, they think they are satisfying God with the tithes, although they are. But, some people have abandoned love, in lieu of this, they have elevated tithes as a superior means of seeking the face of God. The instructions about His coming have been quenched all in the name of MONEY, POWER AND FAME. – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua.
Most pastors now emphasize solely on tithes as if it’s their mandate. As a matter of fact, tithe is not money only, it involves other things. Truth be told, some people are being deceived because they fear God, but in most cases these pastors are seen as supreme beings with a divine edict. For years, the status of some pastors has been perturbing my mind, in such a way that they have elevated themselves like a narcissist. Howbeit, I am not in the position to judge, but let them continue to deceive the people. The voodoo will dispel and the people under their ministry would be set free. – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua.
Since they have claimed that God called them to heal people with disability. How come they are still in that condition? They are not concerned about the salvation story anymore, but ‘tithe’ as regards to money is their basic sermon. Here are my questions :
Is it not strange that every Sunday when you go to church, after praising and worshipping plus a sugarcoated sermon. At the end, it will be ‘tithes and offerings’, even the poorest of all would give, but have you forgotten that some people borrowed money to come to church, yet they keep exploiting this naive people. The questions are, must tithe be in form of money? If it should be money only, how about those who don’t have money? Money has made it difficult to recognize good pastors. Hence, the truthful ones are not exonerated.
In addition to this, if you are a prominent person in a given society or country, then the front seat is yours. You will be rated extremely and be seen on social media like a god. The term tithe has been bastardized, I wonder if God is coming soon. I have been pondering about His judgment, perhaps no one is free yet. But my crucial pain is, how some pastors tend to secure themselves as political leaders, therefore using security men to guard themselves,in such a way that, one must strive before seeing them. If I may ask, was Jesus Christ a private person when he was on earth? Did he make life difficult for people?
From the above questions some people might argue that during Jesus Christ era there was no cogent civilization, I agree with that, but did he not live a life of humility and simplicity? Perhaps, humility and simplicity shouldn’t be affected by civilization, they must portrait their usefulness. Yet, after using several dubious strategies to collect money from the people their humility will be auto-tuned to pride. Are they pastors or politicians?
I know I might not be making sense to some people, as they might be thinking that I am a messenger sent by the devil. But, must we see the truth and hide from her? I have been in the state of silence for many years, yet some pastors have enthroned themselves as the owners of people’s income. Are they seeing Christ as their supreme mentor? I don’t think they are, but who am I to judge, I am just an ordinary writer trying to share my views as regards the execrable conditions meted by some pastors on the naive masses.
Things have really changed as Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua puts it, they promised the most high that their humility won’t partner with stupidity, but they have been infected by material things and they have forgotten their ‘true call‘. In lieu of this, they have made their thoughts and decisions to become superior. What gain would it be at the end?
The time is coming when the masses would invade the church and question the pastors about their tithes and offerings, people would think it’s insanity, but time is waiting for a call as transparency has been bribed and her expressions has been dwindled and ridiculed without an appeal, is it not obvious that the priority of some pastors is to safeguard themselves before considering their members. As the case may be, pride has become a normalcy within them, even the members respect them by worshipping them like GOD.
Who can take God’s glory? The term “I AM” is now theirs. They have made it an obligation that ‘tithes’ must be paid. I understand that the church needs to be funded in order to put some things in place, but it should be unacceptable when some pastors are addressing themselves like GOD and making all things compulsory. As a matter of fact, only GOD knows who is serving him.
How I wish I can continue with these views, but it won’t change anything. Even in life, not all words will transform people. I am not trying to judge Pastors or men of God, but if care is not taken all churches will become a worldly paradigm. Well, I have tried my best at this point, it is left for you to decide what you want and whose slave you want to be. As I put it below :
END OF DISCUSSION
Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua argues, ” evolution and revolution have signed an agreement to storm the world and her occupants, but as regards the issue about ‘tithe’, man is trying his best to rationalize within the concept of his thinking. Whether you pay it, or not, that doesn’t mean you would be poor or rich. Believe me, some pastors are using these tithes for themselves only. I am not saying you shouldn’t pay your tithes, but you must free yourself from mental slavery. Stop being dependent, be independent, because your mind is who you are.
