If I am sleeping, please wake me. If my thinking is wrong, please correct me. Evil and Good have brought uniqueness to this world. Willy-nilly, we have our choices to make but guided by a limitation which man can’t wrestle. – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua.
From the above quote will I bring my own arguments as regards the concept of evil and good whereas some might use it interchangeably by saying, “GOOD AND EVIL”. I am not writing this article to cajole or win the hearts of the masses but I am expressing in order to give my opinions about this ontological debate called, ‘evil and good’. I am sure that nobody will want to be in an auditorium of evil but if ‘good’ is given for free everyone will gyrate in her territory. Where is evil from? Where is good from? Their conglomeration or agreement would be like a mixed economy for the purpose of man’s realization. If I should tag God as evil, people will criticize my intention but if I should acknowledge God as the good one, people will jubilate with me without limits. Why is it the case that ‘evil’ has been attributed to man? Why is it the case that ‘good’ has been given to God as the supremacy? Hence, this is because His perfection can’t be ridiculed. Yet I will ask this question, can’t I be like Him since He’s my Father? Mr X wants to be like his father. Or have we not heard this statement? “Like father, like son.” Where there is evil, good will struggle and where there is good, evil will not struggle but their agreement will be fulfilled by death. What is the purpose of everything? To be ‘good’as man implies perfection and to be ‘evil’ implies perfection. These two concepts in man makes him or her imperfect thus, man will continue to agitate for perfection. That is, man must claim or choose one side in order to obtain perfection. Hence, the presence of evil and good means imperfection. How about that?
If I have concluded to be good or evil, are my responsible for that? Is it the case that I am fulfilling and assisting a mission which is unknown to me whether good or evil? How will I opt for evil and leave the good side? If truly this mission has been planned then I should not be blamed for my actions, in lieu of this, I should be appreciated for my contributions to life. This is also applicable to you. Isn’t it? If the genesis of evil and good can be cancelled then people will rejoice afterall they will have the opportunity to choose the part and path they have been thinking. If natural disasters are regarded as evil, who will be responsible for these? God? Man? Devil? Man in his fear will quickly ascribe those evil occurrences to the devil since he has been named as a rebellious being. But,can the devil act and react without permission? Moreover, it is very vital to note that, what is natural is of nature. What is nature? Nature is the manifestation of what we can see but controlled by a supremacy greater than mankind. Are you still doubting? If you are a critical thinker without an extreme belief of religion you might get it right. As a matter of fact, fear might limit your level of understanding. Have you not seen the motto of an “Acer laptop ” which opines “explore beyond limits”?
We are just struggling with these two concepts because we do not know which is evil and which is good. What if at the end, evil was good and good was evil. Can this be possible? We might think evil is evil and good is good , in such a way that we tend not to reason beyond because we think that should be a mere definition for them. However, evil was created in order to draw mankind closer to the supreme being. It has been assumed that man lost his confidence when he disobeyed his maker thus, evil became a common issue and the only way to eradicate this, will be dictated by man. Must he be the one to rescue himself ? Is it the case that his creator is napping? This can’t be. If the creator possesses an absolute power then, He has the edict to change all evil to good. If that should be the case, why is man bothering himself to be good? Do not mistake my arguments because I am not criticizing God. Afterall the concept of reasoning should be permitted. Nobody wants to be a friend to evil but if evil is not for man, who is evil for? Animals? Things? How do we tend to survive by being good when most of the faces in this world are tinted with evil?
When good things are happening in your life always remember that evil is at one corner planning to also join the party. You can not always have ‘good’ afterall ‘evil’ is like a debt. Beg who is coming to be quick. – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
” Imagine a world where all religions will dwell together in unity. Imagine a world where you can be able to preach your religion to other religions. Imagine a world where laughter will live forever. When would religion stop this disastrous impersonation?.” – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
If religion is a criterion for all then, more Calamities would come to establish a canopy of religious conflicts. I have wondered about the essence of religion as related to human society. Some people have argued that the main aim of religion is to instill morality in mankind in order to act morally, yet, if that should be the case, this religion has succeeded in some not in all, in other words, is religion acting as a moral agent under man’s umbrella? Or is religion a dictatorial being upon mankind? Peace won’t come except your religion can create that peace with others. Discrimination won’t take you anywhere, it will only make you think you are dynamic whereas you are static. Stop being dramatic, rise up and face different things because time is not friendly.
Religion was invited by man but, this religion brought an overwhelming situation which led to different condemnations. As a matter of fact, at times I wish I could see religion myself as a human being that talks,so that I can tell him or her about the discrepancies, as the case may be, religion won the hearts of many deceptively in a unique way. This concreteness has been accommodated with a strong belief which is unshakable. The only way to discipline religion is for man to discipline himself, if not, religion will always be an everlasting paradigm. This is not the matter of exaggerations coupled with a delusive thinking which religion has given to all in form of truthfulness. Can you think outside your religion?
If religion is exempted, what would be the watchword of mankind? A nation without religion might collapse, if I am lying then, neutrality will be needed. Have you not heard this saying, “no religion, no society“. If this is true, religion connotes society and society connotes religion, as time approaches, religion became a predominance concept, up till this moment she is still existing in the spotlight as a queen over kings. Many crowns have been lost all in the name of religion, the percentage of people agitating for unity is below but, the ability of religion in causing disagreement can be seen as a lofty standard. Man is like a moron blinded by fear as regards religion, this blindfolded concept demands an illumination if progress is needed.
I once approached a young lady that, would she marry me? She replied, ‘what is your religion?’ I could not respond to her question rather I embraced a concept in drama called farce (humor). Religion is everywhere, everything, something, and nothing. In order to be plain, I have concluded within me not to use any religion as an example for the sake of partiality. In other words, no sentiments. If religion won’t be friendly to all then, peace would be scarce. If greatness is to be in continuity there is a common word which man must embrace, although it is simple but costly to maintain. Behold, I present to you, UNITY. I have little words to express, I will continue to be loyal in all ramifications.
” When I cry, you laugh. When I laugh, you cry. This is the concept of religion. An instability without focus.”— Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
” In this article, I have only expressed little because the reading culture is partially an existing imagination. I hope one day, the arena of seriousness will be designed with agitation. “— Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua

“ In September 2000, I lost my biological father to death. In October 2011,my diligent mother joined the same routine. I will always celebrate them in my heart. But, can they be honored or harmed? If celebrating them will make them happy, how will I verify this? If this will harm them, how will I know this? “— Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
As a matter of fact, whenever I see some people celebrating their loved ones who have departed from this world through death,I see them as an empty entity, I am not saying that they are not in the right path. But, what I am concerned about is to know may be the dead can be honored or harmed. If celebrating the dead will harm him or her then, there will be no need to jubilate while the victim involved is suffering endlessly. If this jubilation is making the victim lamenting rigorously, how can we know that? Has anyone gone beyond to verify how the departed souls dance to the tune of their consequences? If this is verifiable, a practical aspect will be needed to convince the masses to embrace this reality. The same principle will be applied to know may be the dead can be honored. What I am saying might be strange to some people who have not witnessed a remembrance ceremony created for the dead, at first, when Mr X is dead you tend to mourn but, when it is time to mark his remembrance you tend to celebrate him saying, “if we do not celebrate him, he will be angry”. Who told you he would be angry or happy? This world of mystery will continue to marvel everyone, except, if mystery can define itself. Is it the case that the dead is still in connection with the living after departure?
” A chance should be given to ask the dead about this reality because only the dead can know how it feels not be.” – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
I think in the land of dead there is death which makes the dead to die, if dead bodies are allowed to speak then, we would know what it is. As words will not be enough to express the main secret behind the dead, what I am trying to discuss in this article is how the dead feels after departure , if I die, where will I go? Where will you go? As it may be argued that judgment awaits the dead in order to give a full detail on how they have spent their tenure while on earth. But, what I am saying is, can the dead be honored or harmed? Do spirits cry or feel remorseful when honored or harmed? I am yet to unveil the covered mystery, since it has been assumed that the dead is in connection with the people who are alive. If a person dies, is it the case that the spoken words by the society whether good or bad will affect him or her? If it will affect then, the dead can be honored and harmed. But, I am not saying this is the case, because it is yet to be verified, I am only expressing what I feel about the dead coupled with my existence as a living being. You are not exempted from this act. Will you be honored or harmed when you are dead?
“ How about those who owe the dead when he or she was alive? If Mr X owes Mrs Y something, and Mr X dies. Will Mr X feel harmed or honored?.” – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
“ How will the dead feel? As a matter of fact, I am expressing with a curious mind , the world is too sweet, whether dead or alive. Who cares?” – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua

“Why must we assume that to be ‘bad’ is to be a sinner?. Thus, some people tend to assume that ‘sin‘ connotes badness. These two concepts are absolutely different. Let thinking be invited.” – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
As a matter of fact, there has been a misconception between ‘bad’ and ‘sin’. In a particular society where some laws are given and stipulated as a moral standard, if I violate one of the laws created, then, I may be regarded as a bad human being, because I have behaved badly. This belongs to the realm of the society, some people tend to assume that since I have violated the law then, I am a sinner. If there are no laws, will they be bad people? Surely, don’t you think the essence of establishing a law is to create an awareness of bad people? The concept of good has become a subject matter within human society, we tend to look for perfection in this world whereas, perfection is struggling to find its place in the world of imperfections. If what is good is good, and what is bad is not good. Why can’t bad be bad? Why can’t sin be sin? But, some people tend to say, if you are a sinner then, you are bad, and if you are bad then, you are a sinner. How apt is this view?
I will now shift my focus to religion where the term ‘sin’ is so vital. Remember that what I am trying to do in this article is to distinguish the aforementioned concepts. Religion tend to focus on what is good only but,how about the concept of bad in religion?. In this context, spiritual speculations tend to be the crux of everything, their maxim will be, “above is important than below”. I am not saying that religion is bad or good but, I see no reason why mankind can not distinguish strongly between these two concepts : bad and sin. As a matter of fact, religion has divided a peaceful society with the concept of’ bad ‘ to be a sinful act. If society made religion, then, religion is of the society thus, why is religion causing conflicts in the same society? If that should be the case, I argue that religion dictates all bad occurrences as a‘ sin’ not as a bad concept. How the society will analyze things is different from religion point of view, bad will be bad as regards to the society while in religion, bad will be regarded as a sin. What can you say to this?
“ Do not conceive ‘bad and sin’ as the same. These two concepts are absolutely different , in religion, you can not amend a stipulated constitution because the unknown made it so. But, society can amend a stipulated constitution because the known can be questioned even, badness can still be changed, infact, a sin is an everlasting one.”—–Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua

“How can I verify what I don’t know ? I wish I could go beyond, in fact, if an opportunity is to be given to me I would verify some, not all. Yet, the issue about knowing the unknown will remain a mystery for man, until this is verified the quest continues ” – – – – – Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua
From the above quotation we can ask ourselves the same question about transcendental notions. There is no doubt everyone has a belief which is synonymous to spirituality. Can we dispute that? Have we not imagined what are beyond? If we have not thought of them, this might be the greatest lie we have ever committed. In as much as we think about what are there and what are not there, this question will always come in a glance : What are beyond? Let heavens and earth be ready as the quest of human knowledge will continue to radiate within mankind.
I wish I could unmask myself may be I would know the true reality attached to life but, I was told that the only way to verify is to go beyond. Will I board a plane or a jet? Who will take me there? Is anyone available? These questions might look ridiculous, these are questions that should be taken with a serious notion. The origin has been covered thus, unveiling this authentic reality will demand a quest of transcendental intervention. As a matter of fact, where can we start from? Who will help man? Several theses have been propounded to detect the true story of transcendency . This ended in futility.
Fix your wings may be you can fly like a bird to the other worlds to know what you have not been thought. Remember you must come back to give a report of what you saw, you must return with alacrity because your lateness might make people to reject all. But the transcendence of no return is coming, and this is not in the sense of religion. This will be in the sense of what you don’t know.
It might be now, are you ready?
“ Do not complain about the shortage of my articles, you know about the reading culture “——-Akinrulie Opeyemi Joshua

In 2001,the current president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari asserted succinctly,” let the Christians vote for Christians. Let the muslims vote for muslims” Does religion have a place in politics? So many people hide under the canopy of religion in order to play a political strategy which will cajole the people to deception. If I may ask, who will act politically without religion? How do we know people who are not religious? I am not exempted from this act. All in the name of politics they preach religion, and all in the religion they preach politics. If religion is to be exempted from the society, what will be the outcome?
They might not display their religious hatred but, their imaginations are destructive like a wicked soul. They have sugarcoated utterances which the people tend to believe coupled with several convictions of humility. They will act like a snail that moves slowly but, their wings are like Eagles. When will this deception end? Today? Tomorrow? Future? If we are tired, then, can we commit suicide? Believe it or not, this stride will be transferred from one generation to many generations. When you take religion away you have taken the world from them. Can you create your own world without religion?
This will be the survival of the fittest like the Charles Darwin’s origin of species propounded in 1859. This is a battle between religion and politics contending in the quest of power, whosoever wins will take the mantle of leadership . As for man, religion is an upholder of mankind, in as much as we live by the dictations of religion. What has religion brought? Progression or regression? As I am writing, whose influence am I under? Mankind created religion, now, religion became a dictatorship to man, he has been looking for different ways to eradicate what he has created but, religion replied with an audible voice saying, “ I am your master” . Remorsefully , man has no choice thus, he is managing his problematic notions which will never end.
“ I don’t write extensively,my articles are always short because it is better to short than to be long without essence, perhaps I can make them long if permitted . I believe as soon as the truth is unveiled people will see the authentic notion about this engulfed world” – – – –
